Hellux Latarnia 4113024 children’s lighthouse night lamp, white and red, 31 cm

The Hellux Latarnia 4113024 is a children’s night lamp shaped like a lighthouse. A white tower rises from a red base, with a red balcony and a small railing around the upper light chamber. Its wooden construction is combined with a milky acrylic diffuser at the top.

A lighthouse for a bedside surface

This is a freestanding table lamp for a child’s room, not a hanging light. At 31 cm high, with a footprint measuring 12.5 × 12.5 cm, it is worth checking against the available space on a bedside table or desk. Allow room for the cable as well as the lamp itself. The tall, narrow tower gives the lighthouse motif a vertical presence without requiring a large area of tabletop.

Hellux recommends the lamp as supplementary lighting before bedtime and during play. It can also sit on a desk as an additional light. That purpose is different from lighting an entire room: choose its position as part of the room’s lighting arrangement rather than relying on the decorative lighthouse alone to illuminate everything.

Light through the upper chamber

The lamp has one light point and a G4 socket. The manufacturer describes it as an LED night lamp, with light diffused through the milky acrylic shade in the upper section. The product photograph shows a white cable with an inline switch, so the control is on the lead rather than on the tower. The complete lamp is supplied from 230 V.

Painted wood and nautical detailing

The base is made from birch wood with a white-and-red painted finish. Its stylised character comes from the circular balcony, little posts and cord railing as well as the colour scheme. These details establish the maritime theme without a conventional fabric lampshade. For cleaning, the manufacturer allows a dry or damp cloth to remove marks.
