Nordlux Helva Night is a white bathroom wall light with a vertical cylindrical diffuser and a compact wall base. Both the body and diffuser are plastic. A longer illuminated section extends above the base, while the short section below it also provides the night-light mode.
Choose the light mode at the fitting
The touch switch is on the housing itself. The first touch activates the upper and lower light together; another touch leaves only the lower section illuminated. Moodmaker gives this fitting two defined settings rather than continuous brightness adjustment through a separate external dimmer.
Nordlux specifies 600 lm for full illumination and 60 lm for the night light. The lower-output setting is useful when the full wall light is not needed. Built-in memory retains the most recently selected mode when power is switched off and on using the wall switch. When planning the mounting position, consider access to the touch control as well as the available wall space.
Check the space beside the mirror
The fitting is 26.9 cm tall and 5.7 cm wide, with a projection of 10.6 cm from the wall. Compare these measurements with the clear area beside the mirror and any adjacent furniture before installation. Its white base and plain cylindrical outline suit modern and modernist interiors, without decorative arms or ornamental detailing.
The manufacturer explicitly identifies bathroom use and rates the fitting IP44. Helva Night is for indoor use only and requires a permanent connection to a 230 V supply. It is not a portable plug-in light. The chosen position must also meet the applicable rules for bathroom electrical installations.
Integrated LEDs, not a replaceable bulb
The 6.8 W LED source is included, so there is no separate bulb or socket size to choose. Its 3000 K light is warm white, and the Ra 90 rating describes colour rendering. The source is non-replaceable: the installation instructions require replacement of the whole fitting when it reaches the end of its life. Class II construction means double insulation.
