Ideal Lux LOOK 233772 white square ceiling spotlight GU10 20 cm

Ideal Lux LOOK 233772 is a white ceiling spotlight with a metal body and a square cross-section. Its straight sides and downward-facing light opening distinguish it from the round fittings in the same collection.

A narrow body extending 20 cm below the ceiling

The fitting measures 6 cm in length, 6 cm in depth and 20 cm in height. It mounts to the ceiling rather than hanging from a cable. Allow for the full 20 cm projection when choosing its position, particularly above a circulation route or where ceiling height is limited.

The square profile can be aligned with the straight edges of fitted furniture. White metal and the absence of an ornamental shade support modern, modernist and minimalist interiors. This is a narrow lighting point, rather than a broad ceiling fixture with a large diffusing surface.

A replaceable bulb is supplied

The manufacturer specifies the included Ideal Lux 123943 GU10 bulb: 7 W LED, 3000 K and CRI 90. Its warm-white colour is a defined part of the supplied lighting specification. The stated 540 lm belongs to the bulb, not a measured output for the complete fitting. When planning several spots, compare their light-source specifications rather than relying only on the number of fittings.

The bulb is replaceable, and the fitting accepts one GU10 lamp rated at no more than 28 W. That maximum is not the consumption of the supplied bulb. The technical sheet describes this version as non-dimmable, so compatibility with a brightness controller should not be assumed.

Placement and installation

Downward light can form part of a lighting scheme for a living room, bedroom, dining room, kitchen or hallway. Position each spot according to the room layout; a single fitting is not a promise of even illumination throughout the room.

LOOK is intended for indoor installation on a 220–240 V AC supply. The instructions require installation by a qualified electrician and disconnection of power before installation or maintenance. Fixings must be selected to suit the ceiling material.
