Italux Lenti LED pendant light 7W 3000K silver with white shade PND-83631-1-SC-WH

Lenti PND-83631-1-SC-WH is a single-light Italux pendant with a spherical milky-white shade 15 cm across, its surface marked with vertical ribs. The shade sits between two satin silver sleeves, and the whole lamp hangs on a thin cable below a round silver ceiling canopy. The manufacturer lists steel, glass, acrylic and aluminium as its materials and gives a 5-year warranty.

Size and suspension

The body with the shade is 27 cm tall and the lamp including its suspension measures 133 cm – compare that with the height of the room and with how low the shade should hang over a worktop or table. At 15 cm across it takes up little space, so over a kitchen island or a longer table several are usually hung in a row.

Light source

The pendant has a built-in 7 W LED module – there is no bulb holder, so nothing needs to be bought separately. The module gives 595 lm, less than an old 60 W bulb: this is light for picking out a particular spot, and with several pendants over a worktop it works as task lighting for that area.

At 3000 K the light is warm white, and the milky shade spreads it evenly with no visible point of light. The lamp cannot be dimmed. Its IP20 rating means it is meant for dry interiors.

Where to hang it

Italux intends Lenti for kitchens, dining rooms, living rooms, bedrooms and studies. The series keeps a modern, simple form – a ribbed globe and plain metal parts without ornament. The Lenti family also includes three-shade versions and other metal and glass finishes.
