Italux Quelto White Steel Pendant Lamp 35 cm E27 PND-84432-1-WH

Italux Quelto PND-84432-1-WH is a white steel pendant with two conical elements separated by a small gold-coloured sphere. The broad lower shade opens downwards, while the smaller cone above it faces the opposite way. A white flex and round ceiling canopy continue the colour of the suspension rather than adding a contrasting line above the shade.

A 35 cm shade with a 90 cm overall drop

The body is 19 cm high, whereas the overall height is 90 cm. Its 35 cm diameter describes the width of the lower shade. Keep these measurements separate when comparing the pendant with your table and the distance between the ceiling and tabletop: the short shade itself does not represent the full hanging height.

The downward opening makes this a candidate for a dining table or a living-room coffee table. In a bedroom, hallway, hotel room or restaurant, allow for the suspended fitting and check the space beneath it. Shade diameter alone does not tell you how large a room one lamp will illuminate adequately; that also depends on the selected bulb and the wider lighting arrangement.

One E27 bulb, purchased separately

Quelto takes one E27 light source rated at no more than 40 W. Italux permits a conventional or LED bulb, but a bulb is not included. You therefore choose the brightness and colour temperature through the light source rather than accepting a fixed built-in LED specification. The open underside also makes the bulb's appearance relevant when the fitting is viewed from below.

Dimming is possible with a suitable light source. Check the compatibility of the bulb and your lighting controls if you want this function; an E27 base by itself does not establish dimmability.

Opposing cones and a single gold accent

The two cones create a geometric outline suited to modern, modernist and minimalist interiors. This is a single pendant shade rather than a multi-arm chandelier. White occupies most of its visible form, with the gold-coloured detail concentrated at the junction between the cones.
