Jupiter BEGAMO 1580 chrome chandelier, 5 × E27, 68 cm

Jupiter BEGAMO 1580 is a five-arm chandelier with a chrome finish and pale, tapered lampshades. Its curved arms meet beneath the central body, creating a symmetrical arrangement. The manufacturer specifies steel, fabric and PVC as the materials; reflective metal surfaces contrast visibly with the matt shade surfaces.

Choose five bulbs separately

Each of the five light points has an E27 socket. The light sources are replaceable, and bulbs are not included, so five suitable E27 bulbs need to be selected separately. The manufacturer's rating is 5 × E27/15 W: allow for a limit of 15 W at each light point rather than reading this figure as the brightness of the complete chandelier.

The chosen bulbs determine light colour and luminous flux. Selecting a matching set with the same colour temperature keeps the five shades visually consistent when lit. This fitting operates at 230 V. It is not a luminaire with a non-replaceable LED module, so a bulb can be changed without replacing the entire chandelier.

Allow for its 68 cm spread

BEGAMO 1580 measures 68 cm wide, 68 cm deep and 55 cm high. Compare the spread of its arms with the width of your table and the space available beneath the ceiling. Above a table, check the distance between the bottom of the fitting and the tabletop. In a living room or bedroom, check headroom wherever people will walk beneath it.

The circular arrangement of five light points makes this a candidate for central lighting in a living room, bedroom or dining room, including over a dining table. Actual brightness still depends on the bulbs. The number of arms alone does not establish how large a room the chandelier will illuminate.

Classical arms, chrome detailing

Curved arms and five separate shades give this fitting a classical chandelier silhouette. Its simple central body and chrome finish also suit a modern-classic setting without introducing crystal ornamentation. It is an option for someone looking for a chandelier with individual lampshades rather than a single pendant shade. The manufacturer states a five-year warranty for this exact model.
