Keter Lighting MAO 856 black and white pendant light, 1×E27

Keter Lighting MAO 856 is a single pendant light with a black cylindrical cover and an open white cage around the bulb. Both the frame and shade are metal. The exposed light source forms part of the appearance rather than disappearing behind a fully enclosed shade.

A narrow pendant with a 100 cm overall height

The manufacturer specifies a length and width of 12 cm each and an overall height of 100 cm. A small shade therefore does not mean a short drop. Before choosing its position, compare that height with the distance from the ceiling to your tabletop or the clearance above a walkway. The 100 cm measurement does not establish height adjustment.

The manufacturer lists living rooms, other rooms, hallways, kitchens and catering premises as uses for MAO. This single-light pendant can be considered above a table or kitchen island when its hanging height suits the layout. Its narrow form also lends itself to planning several separate pendants instead of one broad fitting. Each position needs to be accounted for in the electrical layout.

Choose the visible bulb separately

There is one E27 socket, with a maximum permitted bulb power of 60 W. The bulb is not included. Alongside the fitting, check the bulb's size and shape: it remains visible between the white rings and changes the appearance of the lower section.

Light colour and brightness depend on the chosen bulb, not on the MAO fitting alone. Its open lower section does not conceal the source in the same way as a closed opaque shade. The 60 W rating is a power limit, not a measure of brightness.

Black cylinder and white cage

The simple cylindrical form, exposed bulb and metal cage support modern, industrial and loft-style interiors. The white lower section distinguishes this variant from all-black pendant lights, so both colours matter when coordinating it with other fittings.
