Keter Lighting SATURN BLACK 411 Ceiling Light – 3xE27 max 60W, metal and plywood, brass lampholders, 30 cm

SATURN BLACK 411 is a ceiling fitting from the Polish brand Keter Lighting of Częstochowa. Three short arms are set into a round black ceiling plate, each ending in a small disc and a brass-coloured E27 lampholder. Article number 411.

A fitting with no shade — and why that is a design decision

SATURN has no shades. The bulbs are fully exposed and the structure itself does the decorating: black metal against brass lampholders, with three points set at different heights. The consequence is practical and worth knowing before you buy: how this lamp looks and how it lights depends entirely on the bulbs you choose. The manufacturer supplies none.

A fitting like this is usually paired with decorative Edison bulbs — large envelopes (G95, G125, ST64) with a visible filament, in amber or clear glass. The alternative is frosted-envelope lamps if you want softer light without glare — with an exposed bulb, looking straight at the fitting can be uncomfortable.

Metal and plywood

Keter gives the frame material as metal and plywood — a combination characteristic of this manufacturer, which uses plywood across many of its ranges. The wood-based elements warm up a structure that would be purely industrial in metal alone. The whole is black, with a brass accent at the lampholders.

Three E27 lamps up to 60 W

Three E27 sockets with a 60 W limit each is one of the few cases where a fitting also permits classic incandescent lamps, not only LED. That matters, because genuine decorative filament bulbs — very popular in this style — are incandescent. If you choose LED, three lamps of 8–10 W will give roughly 2000–2500 lm in total, enough to light a room of about 12–18 m².

Dimensions and mounting

The fitting measures 30 x 30 x 30 cm — it fits within a 30 cm cube, measured from the ceiling to the lower edge of the arms (bulbs excluded). The ceiling plate is round and the fitting mounts directly to the ceiling, with no cable drop. That matters in rooms of standard height where a conventional pendant would be in the way. Remember that the bulbs you choose will add their own ten-plus centimetres to that height.

Where it works

The manufacturer suggests: living room, bedroom, hallway, kitchen and hospitality venues. Exposed bulbs look right over a dining table, above a bar and in an industrial or loft-style kitchen. IP20 means dry rooms only — the fitting is not suitable for a bathroom or outdoors.

The SATURN family

The collection is extensive and comes in two finishes — BLACK (numbers 410–415) and SILVER (424–430) — differing in lamp count, arm length and height. Variant 412, for instance, is the same three lamps but on a 120 cm suspension, i.e. the pendant version for over a table. The article number is the only reliable identification here — the series name recurs across more than a dozen executions.
