SATURN NATURAL 278 by Keter Lighting is a wall light that leaves its bulb on display. A white metal arm projects from a round wall base with a natural plywood detail, while a short suspended lampholder sits beneath a flat, wood-toned disc.

An open design with a visible bulb

Rather than enclosing the light source in a fabric shade, this design places a small horizontal disc above it. The shape and finish of your chosen bulb will therefore affect the appearance of the whole fitting as well as its light. The decorative bulb shown in the manufacturer's photograph illustrates one possible combination; it is not included. The short cable, cylindrical holder and circular plywood elements remain visible parts of the design, rather than components concealed inside a larger shade.

Allowing space on the wall

The manufacturer specifies a height of 30 cm, a width of 17 cm and a length of 12 cm. Compare all three measurements with the available space, nearby furniture and the swing of any adjacent doors before choosing its position. This is a wall-mounted fitting, not a floor or ceiling lamp. It can supplement lighting in a living room, bedroom, dining room or hallway. In circulation areas, allow clearance for both the projecting arm and the bulb you intend to use.

One E27 holder, white metal and plywood

The fitting has one E27 light point with a maximum bulb rating of 60 W. A bulb must be purchased separately. Its lumen output and colour temperature determine brightness and light colour, so an interior photograph does not represent a fixed lighting effect or output for the fitting itself.

White metal and the natural wood tone of plywood give the simple circular forms a two-material contrast. The exposed bulb and restrained arm suit modern and Scandinavian interiors. When coordinating other fittings or furniture, you can pick up either the white surfaces or the plywood grain without introducing a large decorative shade.
