Larisa R 30 3CCT Dimm is a round ceiling light by Rendl, 30 cm across and only 5.8 cm deep, fixed flat against the ceiling. The black metal body with its milky diffuser makes a plain geometric disc that all but merges with the ceiling while spreading light widely and evenly.

2250 lm — when 30 cm makes sense instead of 22 cm

This is the larger of the two sizes in the Larisa family: 30 W and 2250 lm against 20 W and 1500 lm for the 22 cm version. The 750 lm difference amounts to a disc 8 cm wider and half as much light again — enough for one fitting to serve a bedroom, a study or a child's room as the main source instead of two smaller ones. A wider disc also means a larger luminous surface, so at the same brightness the light is easier on the eyes than from a smaller, more densely loaded shade.

Three light colours from the built-in switch

The fitting carries a colour-temperature switch: the same luminaire gives warm 3000 K, neutral 4000 K or cool 6500 K. No remote, no app and no lamp change is involved — the colour is set once at installation and can be changed later if the room's use changes. That is unusual in a body this flat and this understated.

TRIAC phase-cut dimming

Larisa dims from an ordinary TRIAC phase-cut dimmer fitted in the wall box — a classic wall dial, with no bus and no controller. Check the minimum load of the dimmer you choose: 30 W is not much, and cheaper models set the threshold higher.

Where it works

The shallow body takes up no room, so the fitting suits low ceilings, entrance halls and corridors, and at 2250 lm it will also carry the main light in a moderately sized living room or a home office. In larger rooms several units in a line or a grid give even general light with no dark corners.

Larisa R 30 comes in three finishes: white (R14442), pearl gold (R14443) and black (R14444). The smaller 22 cm size carries codes R14439–R14441, so several rooms can be matched.
