The Lofoten outdoor ceiling lamp by Norlys is a classic, restrained ceiling fitting designed for terraces, entrances, gazebos and other landscape architecture. The transparent shade of safety glass beautifully showcases the light source, while the black galvanised body blends with the building facade and with wooden or stone terrace surfaces.

The fitting has a loft-inspired, minimalist character that combines the simplicity of traditional design with a durable, weather-resistant construction. Its IP44 rating makes it safe for outdoor areas, under an eave or in covered passageways.

Application

The Lofoten works in any spot that calls for durable, elegant outdoor lighting – above the front door, on a covered terrace, in a gazebo or under a canopy. Thanks to the open, clear shade you can use a decorative E27 bulb to create a warm, cosy atmosphere in the evening. Mounting on four holes spaced 70 by 70 mm makes installation on typical ceiling boxes easy.

Style

The simple geometric form and black finish fit loft, industrial and Scandinavian styles. The fitting looks great on buildings with both modern and traditional architecture, giving the entrance a distinct character.

Thanks to its powder coating, the surface withstands UV radiation, moisture and changing temperatures very well, while the EPDM gasket protects the inside of the fitting from damp. The shade can be removed without tools, making bulb replacement and cleaning straightforward.
