PARRAL LE42138 by Luces Exclusivas is a pendant light with a dome-shaped bamboo shade. The pale weave contrasts with a black cable and round ceiling canopy, while the open underside reveals the interior. Crossing strips of bamboo form an open lattice rather than a continuous, opaque cover.
A 39 cm shade and the space below it
The shade measures 39 cm in diameter, and the manufacturer gives an overall light height of 120 cm. These measurements answer different questions: the diameter helps you judge the width above a tabletop, while the overall height needs to be compared with your ceiling and intended mounting position. The 120 cm figure does not describe the shade alone.
Consider PARRAL above a dining or kitchen table, or as a hanging feature in a living room or bedroom. Where people will walk beneath it, check the remaining clearance. Above a table, compare the shade diameter with the width of the top to assess the proportions before choosing a position.
One E27 bulb, supplied separately
The light has one E27 holder for a bulb rated at no more than 12 W. A bulb is not included, so you will need to select one separately within that limit. Its colour temperature and brightness determine the light you receive; the natural colour of the bamboo does not specify either. The gaps in the weave also expose the interior, making the appearance of the bulb part of the overall design.
A woven detail for boho and Scandinavian interiors
The rounded outline and visible bamboo weave can be paired with wood and textiles in boho or Scandinavian interiors. The black canopy and cable provide a contrasting detail without additional ornament. Choose this design when you want the structure of the shade to remain visible rather than a solid, enclosed surface.
