Lucide BRICE-LED white LED flush ceiling light 8 W IP44 28117/11/31

Lucide BRICE-LED 28117/11/31 is a white square flush ceiling light with an aluminium body and a central opal light panel. Its matt finish and straight-edged frame create a compact ceiling fitting without a hanging shade. This version comes with an integrated, dimmable 8 W LED light source.

A 10.8 cm square footprint

The complete body measures 10.8 × 10.8 cm and projects 3.9 cm from the ceiling. These dimensions describe the whole fitting, not just its illuminated centre. Compare that footprint with the position of your electrical outlet and other ceiling elements before choosing a location. BRICE-LED is surface mounted: it is not a recessed downlight or a pendant with an adjustable suspension.

The white powder-coated finish and clearly defined square border suit modern and minimalist interiors. Choose this form when you want the ceiling light to follow geometric lines rather than introduce an ornamental shade or an exposed bulb.

Warm white light and a separate dimmer

The LED produces warm white light at 3000 K. Lucide specifies a light output of 430 lm and a beam angle of 120°. Light is directed downwards, and the fitting cannot be tilted to change its direction. Use these figures when planning illumination rather than assuming that the 8 W rating alone establishes how bright an entire room will be.

The LED source and driver are included, so there is no separate E27 or E14 bulb to select. Brightness control requires a suitable external dimmer, which is not supplied with the light. The colour temperature is fixed; dimming does not provide a choice between warm and cool white light.

Planning a bathroom installation

Lucide identifies this model as suitable for bathrooms and gives it an IP44 rating. Select its position relative to a bath or shower according to the bathroom zones shown in the installation manual, rather than copying the room photograph. The manufacturer also mentions indoor use in kitchens, living rooms and halls. A qualified electrician should make the electrical connection with the power isolated before work begins.
