Lucide DILETTA 09240/01/02 is an aluminium wall light with a curved, oval cover that remains open at the top and bottom. Its brushed surface has a matt gold finish. The manufacturer's alternative brass colour description refers to the finish, not a brass body.
Upward and downward wall lighting
A single G9 bulb sits behind the cover, with light directed both upwards and downwards along the wall. The fitting has no swivelling head and cannot be aimed like an adjustable spotlight. This arrangement can provide supplementary lighting in a living room, bedroom or dining room, or a wall accent in a hallway, corridor or stairwell. It is not an adjustable reading lamp.
Choose the bulb and controls separately
No bulb is supplied. The fitting takes one G9 light source rated at no more than 40 W, and the manufacturer permits an LED bulb. Brightness and colour temperature therefore depend on your chosen bulb rather than a fixed LED module built into the light. Check the bulb's own specifications against the intended use before purchasing it.
Dimming requires both a dimmable bulb and a compatible dimmer. The dimmer is not included, and fitting an ordinary LED bulb does not by itself enable brightness adjustment. For standard operation, the light is controlled by a switch in the electrical installation.
Allow space around the fitting
DILETTA measures 16 cm wide, 18 cm high and 8 cm deep. Before locating the electrical point, compare these dimensions with the available wall area and clearance beside a walkway or opening door. The wall plate measures 9 × 7 × 2.5 cm, and installation materials are supplied. This is a Class I fitting that requires an earth connection; the manual calls for installation by a qualified electrician.
The simple curved shell suits modern and minimalist interiors without relying on decorative detailing. This model is for indoor use, not outdoor or humid locations. Leave visible wall space above and below the cover when planning the upward and downward lighting effect.
