LUMINES FLARO 10-0441-10 is a 1 m aluminium skirting profile with a white lacquered finish. It is recessed at floor level in place of a conventional skirting board, with part of its section plastered into the wall and a channel for an LED strip along the lower edge.
Plan the recess before finishing the wall
This is a plaster-in profile rather than a surface-mounted decorative strip that can be positioned anywhere on a finished wall. The installation drawings show its relationship to the floor and the portion covered by plaster. Its position therefore needs to be considered as part of the wall finishing work, not just the final lighting layout.
The overall cross-section measures 72.4 mm high and 18.1 mm wide. Check these dimensions against the proposed recess; the full height of the section is not the width of the visible light opening. This particular white version is supplied as a 1000 mm profile length.
LED strip and BASIC cover compatibility
The manufacturer's sheet specifies LED strips up to 12 mm wide and covers from the BASIC family. Light colour and brightness depend on the chosen strip: a white profile does not itself specify a warm or cool light output. The power supply is positioned outside the profile.
The FLARO system also provides left- and right-hand end caps and connectors for straight runs and corners. Plan these around the actual route along the wall, checking compatibility with FLARO and the selected BASIC cover. Assembly drawings explain where the strip and cover sit within the profile, rather than describing the performance of a complete ready-made lamp.
A low-level architectural accent
FLARO is intended for decorative lighting in residential and commercial interiors. Its floor-level position can outline a living room, bedroom or corridor without being treated as the room's main or task lighting. The straight, recessed construction suits modern and minimalist finishes, where the lighting becomes part of the wall detail. It is not a drive-over profile.
