NORLYS Arendal Mini 1566GB is a 37 cm LED garden bollard in a grey-beige finish. Its straight steel body is topped by an exposed crystal-glass shade with a satin finish on the inside. This is not a closed-head fitting with a single side window: the visible glass upper section is a defining part of its construction.
A low fitting beside paths and terraces
The square cross-section measures 9 × 9 cm. Compare that footprint and the overall height with the proposed fixing position and surrounding planting before choosing its location. The low bollard can provide lighting beside garden paths, terrace edges and driveways; it is not a substitute for a tall post intended to illuminate a large area.
Straight planes and geometric glass suit modern, minimalist and Scandinavian garden layouts. The body is made from hot-dip galvanised, powder-coated steel. Its IP65 rating covers dust protection and water jets, not immersion in water.
Warm LED light with phase dimming
The integrated LED module uses 4 W and has a colour temperature of 3000 K. The complete fitting delivers 330 lm. The manufacturer's separate figure of 439 lm refers to the light source itself, so it should not be confused with the output of the assembled bollard when comparing garden lighting.
Both Trailing Edge and Leading Edge phase dimming are supported. Select a compatible dimmer when planning the controls. There is no conventional screw-in bulb to choose: replacement of the integrated LED module is work for a professional service provider.
Fixed installation and glass appearance
The bollard requires a fixed installation and a 220–240 V supply. Its two fixing holes are 6.8 mm in diameter and 38 mm apart. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician. Norlys anchors 203 and 204 are sold separately. The manufacturer also notes that the crystal shade may acquire an amber tint over time. A cracked protective shade must be replaced.
