Norlys Astrid 2214GR is a graphite outdoor bollard with vertical ribs running along its square body. A milky light cover sits behind the upper section, while the aluminium housing is finished in RAL 7016.

Height and space beside a route

The bollard stands 85 cm high and occupies a 14 × 14 cm footprint. Compare those dimensions with the width of the route and surrounding planting before setting out the mounting points. The height describes the complete fitting rather than just its illuminated section.

The straight ribbed form suits a modern or Scandinavian garden setting. Beside a terrace or driveway, it also remains a visible part of the outdoor layout during daylight. Positioning the bollards calls for planning both the route people take and the electrical supply.

Warm light with dimming

The integrated LED module produces warm white 2700 K light, with a luminaire output of 239 lm and total power consumption of 10.4 W. Use the complete fitting’s output when comparing brightness. Milky PMMA diffuses the light visible between the vertical ribs.

The fitting supports trailing-edge TE and leading-edge LE phase dimming with a suitable LED dimmer. Match the control to the installed equipment before the electrical installation is prepared. The LED module and driver are supplied within the bollard, so no separate bulb is needed.

Preparing the base and future servicing

The mounting has three holes measuring 9 mm in diameter, arranged on a 65 mm circle at 120° intervals. The manufacturer offers anchors and adapters separately, and fixing screws are not included. A 230 V Class I connection requires a protective earth conductor and installation by a qualified person.

The body uses powder-coated extruded aluminium with an EPDM cable gland. IP65 describes protection against dust and water jets when correctly installed. A qualified professional can replace the LED module and control gear, so the fitting should remain accessible for servicing.
