NORLYS Asker 5214GB is a 55 cm LED garden bollard in a grey-beige finish. Its narrow rectangular body supports a horizontal head projecting to one side, rather than a globe-shaped shade. The housing is powder-coated cast aluminium, with a clear PMMA lens forming part of the optical assembly.

Planning a low-level outdoor installation

Compare the 55 × 20 × 11 cm dimensions with planting height and the available passage width before deciding where to install it. NORLYS specifies this bollard for gardens, private grounds and architectural lighting. It can be considered for paths, driveway edges and the perimeter of a terrace, while keeping the actual walking route clear of the fixture. This is a fixed outdoor luminaire, not a portable floor lamp for a living room.

The straight surfaces and simple projecting head suit modern, minimalist landscape schemes. The GB suffix identifies the grey-beige finish; black and graphite are separate variants. The complete luminaire has an IP65 ingress-protection rating and IK08 impact classification.

Warm light with a defined distribution

The integrated LED module provides warm light at 3000 K. The luminaire delivers 682 lm and draws 7.7 W in total. Use these whole-fixture figures when comparing lighting options rather than the separate output and power figures for the LED module. Its Ledil SCL lens has an IESNA type II / III distribution, so the direction of the head matters when planning a row of bollards. Do not assume equal illumination in every direction.

Brightness control uses trailing-edge phase dimming. Any planned dimmer needs to be compatible with that control method, rather than merely labelled as suitable for dimmable lamps.

Mounting hardware and servicing

Asker connects to a 220–240 V supply and requires installation by a suitably qualified professional. Mounting uses four 8 mm holes with 18 × 50 mm spacing. Anchors and mounting adapters are sold separately; select them for the intended ground or mounting surface using the manufacturer's instructions. The LED light source and control gear can be replaced by a professional service. They are not changed in the same way as an ordinary screw-in bulb.
