The NORLYS Bologna 365BL is a garden lamp post with three opal globe shades carried on curved cast arms. The luminaire is made of powder-coated cast aluminium in black (RAL 9005). The pole is telescopic, so the height can be set anywhere between 165 and 254 cm.
Size and placement
The three-globe head is 65 cm wide – a figure to compare with the width of your path or flower bed and the clearance to walls and branches. The telescopic pole adapts the height to the setting without cutting anything – there are 89 cm between the lowest and the highest setting.
IP54 means protection against dust and splashing water from any direction, so the lamp can stand outdoors without a roof over it. The manufacturer gives an operating temperature range of −20 to +45°C. Protection class II means double insulation – no earth conductor is required.
What light it gives and which bulbs to buy
Each of the three shades takes one E27 LED bulb in A55–A60 shape, up to 9 W. Bulbs are not included, so you need to buy three – they decide the colour and brightness of the light. The light source can be replaced by the user.
The opal PMMA shades diffuse the light, so the globes glow across their whole surface and the bulb itself is not seen as a harsh point.
What is in the set and how it is installed
The set contains the three-globe luminaire (art. 3026), the lighting pole (art. 3010) and the connection part (art. 3040). No foundation is included: the manufacturer sells a concrete foundation (7668), a concreting anchor (305), a ground anchor (306) and a foundation adapter (108) separately. The base is fixed with three bolts through ø10.5 mm holes spaced 120° apart on a ø240 mm circle.
The terminals take conductors up to 4×2.5 mm², and the round-sheathed supply cable can be 6 to 12.5 mm in diameter. The luminaire can be looped through, meaning the next lamp can be fed from it. It runs on 220–240 V.
Where it fits
Bologna is a classic form: globe shades on ornamented arms and a slender pole with a widened base recall traditional park lanterns. The manufacturer intends it for gardens and terraces; it also suits a park, a hotel entrance or a restaurant's outdoor seating area.
