NORLYS Egersund Wood 2305GR graphite LED bollard light 4000 K 85 cm

The NORLYS Egersund Wood 2305GR combines a cylindrical body of painted Scandinavian pine with graphite aluminium parts in RAL 7016. A transparent cover above the wooden section reveals a distinctive conical reflector. This is an LED garden bollard for fixed installation, rather than a portable light that can simply be placed on a terrace.

Height and light distribution

The bollard stands 85 cm tall and measures 12 cm in diameter. Compare that height with surrounding planting and garden features when choosing its position: the illuminated section sits above the wooden body. Its rotationally symmetrical distribution sends light around the bollard instead of concentrating it into a single directional beam.

A colour temperature of 4000 K gives neutral-white light. The complete luminaire delivers 873 lm, a figure distinct from the output of the LED source alone. The manufacturer specifies this design for gardens and private grounds. Spacing between several bollards should follow the lighting design for the particular site, rather than a fixed distance assumed to work for every garden.

Dimming and professional servicing

Total luminaire power consumption is 9.1 W. The LED module operates with an electronic power supply, and brightness can be controlled with trailing-edge or leading-edge phase dimming. The installer should check control compatibility before specifying a dimmer. This is not an E27 bulb fitting: replacement of the LED module and control gear is a task for professional servicing, not routine bulb replacement by the user.

Anchoring the wooden bollard

This version has an IP65 rating and electrical protection class II. Its base uses three mounting holes of 9 mm diameter on a 65 mm bolt circle. Anchors and other mounting accessories are sold separately and must be chosen to suit the supporting surface. A qualified person should install the light in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

Painted wood, powder-coated aluminium and clear PMMA create the material contrast. The simple cylindrical outline works with modern garden architecture, while the visible wood grain distinguishes this version from an entirely metal bollard without adding ornamental detailing.
