The Norlys Lillehammer 1582GB is an outdoor wall light with a rectangular body in grey beige. Powder-coated cast aluminium and clear safety glass form a closed geometric housing without decorative arms. This 1582 version sends light downwards only, at a 60° angle, so it should be distinguished from similar Lillehammer fittings with different light distributions.
Local light along a façade
Warm white light at 3000 K and a luminaire output of 114 lm provide local illumination of a wall surface. The fitting can mark a section of façade beside an entrance, terrace or balcony, rather than replace lighting for an entire property. When planning a row of wall lights, consider the mounting height and the area that needs illumination. The downward distribution does not create a second cone above the housing; Norlys specifies a ULOR of 0%.
An integrated LED module works with an electronic driver, and the complete fitting consumes 4 W. It supports trailing-edge phase dimming. Control selection must take that particular dimming method into account instead of assuming that any dimmer will be compatible.
Dimensions and wall installation
The housing measures 18.5 × 11 × 8 cm. Before ordering, compare these dimensions with the available façade space and the position of the supply cable. The mounting arrangement uses two holes of 5 mm diameter with 45 × 130 mm spacing. The supply is 220–240 V AC, and protection class I requires a suitably prepared electrical connection. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician following the Norlys instructions.
Finish and servicing
The grey-beige colour and plain geometric surfaces suit minimalist and Scandinavian façades. This is a painted finish, not a patinated one. IP65 protection is accompanied by a silicone gasket and an EPDM cable entry; installation must retain the manufacturer's required cable sealing. The LED module and control gear can be replaced by professional service personnel. This is not a fitting in which the user replaces an ordinary light bulb.
