NORLYS Lillehammer 2260CS Corten Steel LED Outdoor Wall Light

The NORLYS Lillehammer 2260CS is an outdoor wall light in the producer’s corten-steel colour. The housing is a powder-coated cast-aluminium block, so the colour name does not mean the body is weathering steel. Light leaves through clear safety glass, closed by a silicone gasket, and the cable enters through an EPDM gland.

Two apertures, one reversible body

The fitting emits light both ways at once. One opening has a 4° beam and the other a 60° beam. It can be mounted the other way up, so the narrow beam goes upward and the wide beam downward, or the reverse. That choice also sets the upward light ratio: the card states ULOR 20/80%. Decide which face should mark the wall above the fitting before drilling.

Luminaire output is 117 lm at 7.6 W, or 15.4 lm/W. The LED module is 5.6 W and 1008 lm, but the wall receives the luminaire flux, not the module flux. 117 lm marks a section of masonry; it does not light a drive or a garden. The colour is 2700 K, CRI 80, with SDCM3 chromaticity. The contained light source is energy class D.

DALI2 supply

An electronic driver with DALI2 control runs on 220-240 V, protection class I. Inrush current is 6.7 A for 2.4 µs, power factor is at least 0.88, and THD is 13%. The fitting does not create a DALI installation by itself. Dimming or grouping needs compatible control already in the building. Only the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person may replace the LED source or the control gear, and only with the supply disconnected. The parts are sensitive to electrostatic discharge.

Fixing it to a facade

The body measures 18.5 × 11 × 8 cm and weighs 1.6 kg net. It fixes with two 5 mm holes spaced 45 × 130 mm, following the supplied instructions. The cable must be round and 7-10.5 mm in diameter. Pierce the gasket only with that cable; a tool breaks the IP seal and voids the warranty. Terminals accept up to 5 × 1.5 mm², and a loop connection up to 3 × 1.5 mm².

IP65 and IK08 apply when the fitting is installed as instructed. Ambient temperature may be from -20 to +45 °C, with a rated ambient of +25 °C. Condensation inside can appear and, according to the card, is not a defect. With 117 lm and a body only 18.5 cm high, compare the wall area you want to mark rather than expecting the fitting to light a whole yard.
