NORLYS Lillehammer 2270CS LED outdoor wall light 3000K – corten finish

NORLYS Lillehammer 2270CS is an outdoor wall light with a plain rectangular body and a corten-coloured finish. The body is powder-coated cast aluminium, with clear safety glass protecting the light openings. The finish name describes its appearance: it does not identify the housing as corten steel.

A narrow beam paired with a broad wash

The 2270 version sends light both upwards and downwards, but the two directions are not identical. One beam has a 4° angle and the other a 60° angle, combining a narrow stripe with a broader illuminated area. The manufacturer allows the arrangement to be reversed, so the direction of the wider beam can be chosen during installation. This optical layout is an important distinction when comparing Lillehammer versions that share a similar-looking body.

The integrated LED module provides warm-white light at 3000K. Output from the complete luminaire is 127 lm, while its power consumption is 7.3 W. These figures describe a wall-accent light, not a guarantee that one fitting will adequately illuminate an entire terrace or entrance. Assess the required overall brightness alongside the other lighting planned for the space.

Size and position on the wall

The body measures 18.5 cm high, 8 cm wide and 11 cm deep. Compare its projection with the available wall space and the clearance needed by opening doors. Straight edges and the absence of decorative arms suit Scandinavian, modern and minimalist elevations. It can also accent a wall beside a terrace or balcony without being treated as a task-lighting fitting.

IP65 specifies dust-tight protection and resistance to water jets. The documented construction includes a silicone seal and an EPDM cable entry. Its clear protective glass should not be confused with an opal diffuser or a promise of diffuse all-round illumination.

DALI2 control and professional servicing

This version operates on 220–240 V and supports DALI2. Select it to match the intended control installation rather than assuming compatibility with any dimmer. The LED source and control gear can be replaced by a professional service technician; this is not a fitting for a conventional user-replaceable bulb. Installation must follow the NORLYS instructions and be carried out by a suitably qualified person.
