TRYSIL 1002BL is a complete pole luminaire: a straight column of extruded aluminium profile splits into a Y at the top and carries two flat LED heads. The whole fitting is 263 cm tall and the heads span 118 cm. The profile is powder-coated in black RAL 9005, and the diffusers are clear, textured, UV-stabilised polycarbonate.
How much light it gives
Four LED modules draw 40 W together and 3901 lm leave the fitting — about as much as four or five old 60 W bulbs combined. At 3000 K the light is warm white, and CRI 80 means correct colour rendering. The light is diffused and directed downwards: only 0.4% of the output goes up (ULOR), so the pole lights the drive or path rather than the sky and the neighbours' windows.
It is controlled over DALI-2 — dimming and switching are done by a DALI controller, and an ordinary phase-cut dimmer will not drive it. Norlys gives lifetimes of L80 102,000 h and L90 52,600 h. The LED modules and driver are replaced by a professional service, and Norlys lists a service kit for the fitting.
Installation and what to buy separately
The pole stands on a B-50 concrete foundation (art. 3091GA0009) and is fixed with M14 bolts at 180 mm spacing; neither the foundation nor the sealed junction box with a 6 A fuse (art. 7666ZX0009) is included. The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 4 mm² and let you loop the supply on with up to 5 × 2.5 mm², so several poles along a drive run on one line. The cable can be up to ø13.6 mm.
The luminaire is protection class I and needs a protective earth conductor, and Norlys requires installation by a licensed electrician. It weighs 21.3 kg and ships in a carton 232 cm long.
Where it fits
IP65 means a dust-tight housing protected against water jets, and IK10 is the highest impact rating. Norlys describes the design as contemporary and intends the pole for gardens and private grounds — by a driveway, on a terrace or in a park.
