Nowodvorski FOURTY L 10896 surface-mounted ceiling spotlight, grey RAL 7022, 90 cm, GU10 R35

Nowodvorski FOURTY L 10896 is a surface-mounted ceiling spotlight shaped as a long, narrow tube. Its painted aluminium body comes in Umbra gray P027, corresponding to RAL 7022. This particular version measures 90 cm high and just 4 cm wide: the slender profile needs little lateral space, but its substantial downward projection should be checked against the ceiling height and the surface below.

A rigid tube rather than a cable pendant

The fitting mounts directly to the ceiling. There is no suspension cable to shorten, so the stated 90 cm describes the body, not an adjustable hanging range. Check where its lower edge will sit before choosing a position above a kitchen island or beside a circulation route.

The uninterrupted cylinder gives the fitting a clear vertical outline without a broad shade or branching arms. It suits modern, modernist and minimalist interiors where lighting is intended to follow the geometry of the room. Several fittings can form a repeated arrangement, with spacing chosen to suit the lamps and the surfaces being illuminated.

Choose a GU10 R35 LED lamp separately

One replaceable GU10 R35 LED lamp is required, with a maximum rating of 10 W. It is not included. Check the R35 designation as well as the GU10 cap when selecting a replacement; matching the cap alone does not establish the correct lamp format. Brightness, colour temperature and beam angle depend on the lamp you buy. The 10 W limit is not a promise of a particular light output or the consumption of a supplied lamp.

Supplementary lighting and installation

The manufacturer identifies hallways, corridors, kitchens, living rooms and bedrooms as applications for supplementary or accent lighting. Plan around the area you want to highlight rather than assuming one fitting will illuminate the entire room. The package contains the luminaire and instructions. Electrical connection should be carried out by a qualified electrician; isolate the supply and let the fitting cool before lamp replacement or cleaning.
