Paul Neuhaus PURE Vega 2211-95 is an LED pendant light with a narrow cylindrical body divided into lighting segments. Finish: aluminium. Its suspension height can be adapted to the installation position; compare the dimensions of the complete fitting with the surface that will sit below it.
The cylindrical body itself is 40 cm high and 5 cm in diameter, so the complete fitting’s footprint is not the tube diameter. The suspension can be shortened during installation. The finished fitting delivers 440 lm: an output suited to local supplementary lighting rather than lighting a large area on its own.
Height and span of the fitting
Overall height is adjustable: 80–120 cm. The complete fitting measures 12 × 12 cm in plan.
The adjustment range describes the complete fitting from the ceiling, rather than the length of the shade alone. Before installation, compare it with the height of the room and the position of the tabletop. Raising and lowering changes the distance from the light source to the illuminated surface; this is a separate adjustment from dimming.
Separate control of light colour and brightness
The LED sources are included and emit warm white light. The 3000 K colour temperature is fixed: this is a warm shade of white rather than a system for switching between warm and cool light.
The middle body segment acts as a rotary switch. Turning it selects seven lighting modes combining upward, sideways and downward light. These areas can operate individually or together. The adjustment changes the direction and combination of active light sources, rather than their colour temperature. A memory function retains the selected arrangement.
