Pendant Light Italux Moreti Brass White Opal 3xE27 50 cm PND-40623-3-AB

The Moreti PND-40623-3-AB is a three-light ceiling fixture 50 cm across, built on an antique-brass frame and fitted with three shades of white ribbed opal glass. Three curved arms spread from the central canopy and turn the shades opening-down, and a single glass crystal drop hangs beneath the middle mount.

How much room it takes and how it mounts

The fixture covers a 50 cm circle on the ceiling and drops 27 cm below it — that is the whole height it needs. It fixes straight to the ceiling on a round canopy, with no cable and no adjustable drop, so it also fits where a pendant hanging on a flex would sit too low.

Compare the 50 cm with the clear ceiling area where you plan to mount it: the arms reach outwards rather than downwards, so the Moreti needs plan area rather than room height.

How much light it gives and what you need to buy

The fixture takes three lamps with an E27 base, for which the manufacturer states a maximum of 40 W, and runs on 220–240 V. Bulbs are not included, so you choose the colour and the brightness yourself. Three lamps of roughly 800 lm each — the equivalent of the old 60 W bulb — give general lighting that covers a living room.

The manufacturer allows dimming, but it needs a dimmable lamp and a dimmer; the fixture itself has no built-in brightness control. The shades are opal glass, so they diffuse the light instead of letting the filament show through, and the downward-open bowls send most of the output below the fixture.

Finish and the rooms it is meant for

The frame is a metal alloy in an antique-brass finish — warmer and darker than polished gold. The canopy and the rings holding the shades carry a fluted, knurled relief, and the shade glass is ribbed over its full height. The crystal drop under the centre is the only decorative element besides the shades, and the form as a whole is a styled one, with detailing that refers back to classic chandeliers.

The manufacturer intends the Moreti for the living room, bedroom, dining room and study. It also works over a table, in a hallway and in hotel interiors. It belongs to the Moreti product family.
