Italux Moreti PND-40623-5-AB Pendant Lamp Antique Brass 5xE27 60 cm

Moreti is a five-light pendant spanning 60 cm, finished in antique brass, with five opal glass shades. The manufacturer classes it as a styled fitting — an apt description: the form recalls classic chandeliers without their weight, because the shades are plain and the frame is open. The warm, muted brass tone sits well with timber, upholstery and darker walls.

Five separate shades

Five light points arranged on a 60 cm circle give light from several places at once rather than from a single point overhead. The effect differs noticeably from a single fitting: shadows are soft and multi-directional, because each shade lights the table or room from a slightly different angle. Opal glass diffuses light across its whole surface, so the lamps stay invisible and the fitting does not dazzle when seen from the side — which matters when it hangs over a table at the eye level of seated people.

Build

The structure is metal alloy in an antique brass finish — matt, muted, with a visible aged effect rather than mirror gold. The shades are opal glass. At 60 cm across and 27 cm tall the fitting is clearly present in a room yet low-profile: it takes no headroom and suits interiors of standard height.

Choosing bulbs

Five E27 sockets take lamps up to 40 W per point — a limit set back when sources were conventional. The manufacturer allows both conventional and LED; with five points, modern 5–8 W sources together give more light than an average dining table needs. Because the shades are milky glass, the shape of the bulb makes no visual difference — only colour temperature and output matter. Warm white at 2700 K suits brass best; neutral 4000 K cools its tone and flattens the aged effect. Fit five identical lamps, since colour differences between neighbouring shades would show immediately.

Where it works

A 60 cm volume is a centrepiece: above a round or oval dining table, in a living room, in a hotel lobby or in a generous entrance hall. The manufacturer also recommends this model for bedrooms. Its styled character works well in interiors with timber, mouldings and upholstered furniture, where a purely technical fitting would look out of place. The IP20 rating restricts installation to dry rooms.

The Moreti family

The collection also includes a three-light version (PND-40623-3-AB) and a single wall light (WL-40623-1-AB) in the same finish. That makes it possible to pair the table pendant with wall lights, or to run one design through several rooms.
