PROFI LED Tape Series is a line of products designed for professionals. PROFI LED strips are branded by LED Labs Lighting and covered by an extended warranty period. PROFI series also means noticeably lower voltage drops compared to standard LED strips. PROFI series LED strips are finished with professional Blue Tape mounting tape, allowing immediate application in the cleaned LED profile.
With a width of just 5 mm, LED tapes are the ideal solution for projects requiring maximum precision installation. They are perfect for furniture profiles, where every millimeter of space counts. Their slim design makes it possible to install two parallel strips in 10-mm-wide profiles, allowing higher light output without increasing the mounting area.
LED tape in cold white color can be used as a decorative element. The cold light has a blue glow, bringing a feeling of coolness to the room. The tape will be perfect for illuminating elements of room decor.
IP20-rated LED strips are covered with a thin protective layer, which protects them from small contaminants. However, they do not have any additional protection, so they are not recommended in applications where increased moisture resistance is required.
The choice of LED strips with a voltage of 24 V is a solution increasingly chosen by professionals. Thanks to the use of higher voltage, the designed LED lighting system allows you to lay longer sections of LED tape without the risk of voltage drops at the ends of the tape sections. Thanks to their lower current consumption, 24-volt LED strips also allow the use of smaller cables, which can be helpful when designing installations. This allows the wires to be more easily hidden. LED 24-volt strips are increasingly popular in the market.
The CRI parameter indicates how the colors of the illuminated object are rendered. The higher the value, the more natural the objects look. Naturally, that is, as if they were lit by daylight. The use of tape with a CRI of more than 90 allows to reflect the true color of objects in the room where the LED tape was used.
LED tape requires installation of a power supply. When choosing a power supply, you should be guided by the output voltage (it must be the same as the voltage of the LED strip), the mounting location and the wattage. The power of the power supply depends on the power and the length of the LED strip section. The power of the tape should be multiplied times its length. We recommend adding a 10% provision to the calculated power supply.
