Quintiesse Regalia bathroom wall light QN-REGALIA2-PC-BATH, polished chrome, 2 × G9

Regalia QN-REGALIA2-PC-BATH is a two-light bathroom wall fitting from the Quintiesse collection. Two clear K9 crystal-glass shades sit beneath a straight crossbar, with a rectangular backplate and steel parts finished in polished chrome. The faceted glass creates a distinct contrast with the smooth metal rather than concealing it behind an opaque shade.

Planning its position above a mirror

The fitting measures 334 mm wide and 152 mm high, with a projection of 166 mm from the wall. When considering a position above a mirror, check both the available width and clearance from shelves or opening cabinet doors. This is a short horizontal wall fitting, not a long light bar intended to span the full width of a large mirror.

The manufacturer specifies interior and bathroom use, with an IP44 rating. The actual bathroom mounting position must still meet electrical installation requirements; the rating does not permit unrestricted placement near water. Its two glass shades can provide a decorative feature at the mirror, but whether additional room lighting is needed depends on the layout rather than the lamp count alone.

Replaceable G9 bulbs supplied

Two dimmable G9 LED bulbs are included, each rated at 3 W. The manufacturer specifies 300 lumens per bulb and a colour temperature of 3000 K, giving warm-white light. There is no integrated LED module. When replacing a bulb, retain the G9 base type and observe the stated wattage limit.

Dimming requires a suitable dimmer, which is not supplied, and compatible bulbs. The fitting runs from a 220–240 V, 50 Hz mains supply. Check the proposed control against the bulbs in use before choosing a dimming arrangement.

A visible crystal detail

The clear, geometrically cut shades leave the light sources visible, so their appearance differs from a frosted or opaque cover. Polished chrome and crystal facets support glamour and modern-classic styling. Choose Regalia when the glass itself should be an identifiable part of the bathroom scheme, rather than a concealed component of the lighting.
