Rendl LIZ NEW R13822 is a single pendant light combining a rectangular opal-glass shade with chrome-finished details. Its white shade has an open underside, with a separate suspension wire and power cable visible above it. This is the opal-glass version, not the black R13823 variant from the same family.
A narrow pendant to position over furniture
The shade is 22 cm high with a 10 × 10 cm cross-section. Its narrow body can form an individual hanging point over a dining table or provide supplementary lighting in a living room or bedroom. It is not a wide fitting spanning the length of a table. For a larger surface, compare the shade's size with the furniture and the number of lighting points you need.
Rendl specifies a suspension length of 150 cm. The technical drawing also shows a round ceiling canopy measuring 13 cm across. Check the position of the electrical outlet and the space between the ceiling and furniture when planning installation. The suspension measurement is separate from the height of the glass shade.
Choosing an E27 lamp
The fitting has one E27 light point and operates at 230 V. The current manufacturer sheet identifies the source as LED E27 15 W. Light colour and brightness depend on the lamp selected, rather than on a built-in LED module with a fixed output. Compare the bulb's own specifications with the intended use.
Dimming is possible with a suitable light source. Choose a dimmable bulb compatible with the control used; an E27 base alone does not establish dimming capability.
Glass, chrome and installation
The straight glass surfaces and polished chrome details suit modern and minimalist interiors, including individual dining positions in kitchens, hotels or restaurants. The manufacturer's instructions require installation by a qualified person with the mains supply switched off. Handle the glass shade carefully because it is fragile.
