s.luce Orb 5-Light Chandelier, Smoked-Gradient Glass, Black Ø60 cm Canopy

s.luce Orb is a five-light chandelier with spherical smoked-gradient glass shades and a black metal canopy. The upper glass reflects its surroundings, while the more transparent lower part reveals the bulb. Globes in three sizes form a suspended group on separate black cables.

Five globes with adjustable positions

The set contains two shades measuring 20 cm in diameter, two measuring 30 cm and one measuring 40 cm. The largest globe establishes the scale of the composition, with smaller ones completing the group at other levels. These different sizes belong to this specific configuration, allowing the arrangement to be assessed against the available space beneath the ceiling or between floors.

The circular canopy measures 60 cm across, and the maximum drop is 500 cm. The Modular system allows the height and position of individual globes to be adjusted, so their placement determines the width and vertical outline of the whole group. The manufacturer specifies large interiors and open gallery spaces as uses for this fitting. In a living room with a high ceiling, its vertical suspension range can be used while leaving clearance below the lowest shade. Smooth spheres, a plain black disc and slender suspensions suit modern, minimalist interiors.

Choosing bulbs for gradient glass

Each globe takes one E27 bulb. Five light sources must be purchased separately for the five sockets, with a maximum rating of 40 W per socket. Since the bulbs remain visible through the lower glass, their shape contributes to the fitting's appearance alongside the brightness and colour of their light.

Dimming requires dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer. Choosing the sources allows the light to suit how the living room or mezzanine is used. The fitting operates at 230 V and belongs to protection class I, requiring a protective earth connection.
