s.luce Velo 12-Light Chandelier, Clear Glass, White Suspension, Ø25 cm Shades

The s.luce Velo chandelier gathers twelve clear glass shades beneath one white ceiling canopy. The rounded shades have a vertically formed surface, and their transparent glass leaves the selected bulbs visible. White suspensions connect the individual pendants to the shared round ceiling plate.

Size and suspension length

Each shade measures 25 cm in diameter and 27 cm in height. The shared canopy is 80 cm across and 4 cm high, so the ceiling space needs to accommodate the complete plate as well as the individual pendants. Twelve separately suspended elements form a substantial arrangement: compare the overall installation with the space available in your room, rather than judging its scale from one shade.

The maximum drop is 500 cm. The manufacturer specifies textile cables that can be shortened, allowing the arrangement to suit the height of the interior. Before deciding on the drop, check the ceiling height and the clearance needed below the lowest shade. All twelve suspensions meet at the same ceiling plate.

Bulbs and dimming

There are twelve E27 sockets, each rated for a bulb of up to 40 W. Bulbs are not included; twelve need to be selected separately for the fitting. Their colour temperature and brightness determine the light from the complete arrangement. The light sources are replaceable, allowing a later change of light without replacing the whole chandelier.

Dimming requires suitable bulbs and a compatible dimmer. The open bottom of each shade provides a path for light directed downwards. The fitting connects to 230 V and is protection class I, so the installation requires a protective earth conductor.

Placement in tall interiors

The manufacturer specifies this version for living spaces open across floors, stairwells, tall dining areas and entrance halls. Hotel lobbies and restaurants are also stated applications. Repeated shades and one shared canopy form a modern, restrained arrangement. Clear glass leaves the bulbs visible, so their shape is part of the appearance when choosing all twelve light sources, alongside colour temperature and brightness.
