s.luce Velo 190351 pendant light, brown glass, Ø 18 cm, E27, 5 m cable

The s.luce Velo 190351 is a single pendant light with brown, mouth-blown glass and a black suspension. Vertical grooves give its elongated cylindrical shade a defined surface, while an opening at the bottom leaves a direct path for downward light. The bulb remains visible through the tinted glass, making its appearance part of the fitting's design.

A slender shade with a long cable

This version has an 18 cm diameter and a shade height of 33 cm. Its proportions are taller and narrower than the rounded alternatives in the Velo range. When choosing a position, consider where the bottom of the glass will sit, rather than checking the diameter alone. Above a table, allow for sightlines; in a circulation area, leave adequate clearance beneath it.

The black textile-covered cable is 500 cm long. The manufacturer confirms that it can be shortened during installation to suit the room. Cable length and shade height are separate measurements: the five-metre figure describes the cable, not the glass body.

Choose the light source separately

One E27 socket accepts a separately purchased bulb. A suitable LED bulb lets you select the brightness and colour temperature rather than accepting a fixed integrated light source. Because the bulb can be seen through the brown glass, its shape and filament design also matter. A decorative filament bulb is an option, not an included component.

Dimming requires a suitable dimmable bulb and compatible control equipment. The E27 fitting does not make every bulb dimmable, so check the chosen source before planning a dimmer.

For a table, island or tall stairwell

The pendant can be positioned over a dining table or kitchen island, or used as a decorative hanging light in a living area. Its long suspension is also relevant to tall stairwells and open spaces between floors. A simple cylindrical outline supports modern and minimalist interiors, with the ribbed glass providing the detail. Group photographs illustrate arrangements within the range; this item is one pendant, not a multi-light chandelier or a complete group.
