s.luce Velo 8-Light Glass and Metal Chandelier with White Suspension

s.luce Velo creates a three-dimensional arrangement of eight smoky glass shades beneath a white circular canopy. Different shapes and sizes hang from separate white cords. Vertical grooves give the glass a distinctive surface texture, while the open lower edges allow light to reach the area below the fitting.

Eight pendants in three glass shapes

This configuration combines shades measuring 18, 20 and 25 cm in diameter, with corresponding heights of 33, 20 and 27 cm. Elongated and more rounded forms bring variety to the group. Each shade has its own cord, allowing the arrangement to unfold at different levels and make use of the room's height.

The white metal canopy measures 80 cm in diameter and 4 cm high. The suspension extends to a maximum of 500 cm, and the cords can be shortened during installation. Plan the position of the lowest shade and the spacing between the remaining elements before fitting the light. This helps create a vertical composition above a staircase or within an open mezzanine area.

Choose the bulbs to shape the light

Each of the eight E27 sockets accepts a bulb rated at up to 40 W. Light sources are purchased separately, so their colour and brightness can be selected to suit the interior. The bulbs are visible through the glass and contribute to the appearance of the light, making their shape another part of the design. Brightness adjustment requires suitable dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer.

A composition for tall interiors

Velo suits an open living and dining room, a large table or a kitchen island. The manufacturer also specifies open staircases, tall entrance areas and retail spaces for this version. The series is recommended for restaurants too. Handblown glass, slender cords and a plain canopy combine decorative shades with a clean, modern suspension.
