s.luce Velo Pendant Light, Brown Glass, Ø 25 cm, E27

The brown s.luce Velo pendant with a 25 cm diameter combines hand-blown glass with a black suspension. Vertical grooves continue around the rounded shade, while an opening at the bottom allows light to leave beneath the fitting. This is a single pendant with one E27 holder, rather than the multi-light arrangements shown in some Velo family photographs.

Allowing space for the glass shade

The shade measures 25 cm across and 27 cm high. Compare both dimensions with your table or kitchen island before choosing its position: the diameter describes the space occupied by the glass, while the height affects where its lower edge will sit. The black ceiling canopy measures 12 cm in diameter and 2.5 cm high, so its footprint also needs to be considered at ceiling level.

The manufacturer specifies a maximum suspension of 150 cm and a textile cable that can be shortened during installation. This lets the shade position be adapted to the installation, but does not describe a mechanism for changing its height during everyday use. Leave sufficient clearance beneath the pendant wherever people will walk.

A replaceable bulb, chosen separately

No light bulb is supplied. The E27 holder allows the bulb to be replaced, and your choice determines brightness and light colour. Decorative bulbs shown in the photographs illustrate a possible arrangement, not the package contents. Dimming requires a suitable bulb and a compatible control. An E27 designation by itself does not establish whether a particular bulb can be dimmed.

Brown glass above a table or island

The official description identifies living rooms, dining tables and kitchen islands as intended settings. The open underside matters when placing the pendant above a surface, although the amount of light available depends on the bulb fitted. Rounded glass, a vertical surface relief and a restrained black suspension give the fitting a modern form. Its decoration comes from the shade's texture rather than an elaborate framework of arms.
