Sande 1592GB is a garden spotlight with a round head of cast aluminium, powder-coated in beige grey. The head tilts in the vertical plane, so the beam can be aimed at a tree trunk, a shrub or a section of wall. Both a ground spike and a base for permanent fixing come in the box.
What light it gives and what is included
The spotlight ships with a Philips MASTER LED ExpertColor 5.5 W GU10 LED lamp at 3000 K, a warm white, with a 36° beam. The lamp emits 375 lm and the whole luminaire 348 lm — a narrow, symmetrical beam that picks out a single plant or architectural detail rather than lighting a whole lawn. A CRI of 90 keeps leaf greens and flower colours looking natural after dark.
You replace the lamp yourself, as it sits in a standard GU10 socket. The spotlight is phase-dimmable with both trailing-edge (TE) and leading-edge (LE) dimmers. The 1233 cowl, which cuts sideways glare, is sold separately.
Installation and connection
The spike lets you push the spotlight into the soil and move it as plants grow; the base screws it down permanently, for example onto a low wall. A 5 m H05RN-F 3G1 rubber cable is factory-fitted and is connected to the mains in a suitably chosen junction box. As a protection class I luminaire it needs the earth conductor connected, which is what the cable's third core is for.
A clear safety-glass cover, a silicone gasket and IP65 protection let the spotlight stay outdoors uncovered, in rain and dust. IK08 impact resistance matters on a fitting that sits low, within reach of mowers and feet. The manufacturer rates the light source at L70 above 40,000 hours.
