Nowodvorski SET 8896 surface-mounted ceiling spotlight, white/gold, 1×GU10

The Nowodvorski SET 8896 is a single surface-mounted ceiling spotlight with a white cylindrical body and a gold ring around the lamp opening. Its painted-steel housing stays in place while the movable bulb holder lets you change the direction of the light.

A compact body with adjustable aiming

The fitting is 12 cm high and 10.5 cm wide. It projects below the ceiling rather than sitting inside it, so check that outline when planning positions near tall cabinets. Direct surface mounting makes this a different installation choice from a recessed downlight: the cylinder remains part of the visible ceiling arrangement.

The installation drawing specifies 45° of tilt and 350° of rotation. These movements allow the light to be directed towards a chosen part of the interior instead of pointing only vertically downwards. In a kitchen, hallway, corridor or living room, SET can provide a local lighting point. Decide how many fittings to use and how far apart to place them with reference to the selected bulbs and the size of the area being lit.

Choose the bulb separately

SET takes one replaceable GU10 R50 LED bulb, with a maximum rating of 10 W. No bulb is included. That figure is a bulb limit, not a fixed power consumption or a promise of brightness. The bulb you select determines colour temperature, luminous flux and beam angle, allowing those characteristics to be matched to each position in the lighting plan.

White steel with a restrained gold accent

The plain cylinder and flat gold detail suit modern and minimalist interiors, as well as restrained Scandinavian schemes. The package contains the fitting, instructions and a rubber suction cup. Have the electrical connection made by a qualified installer in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Switch off and allow the fitting to cool before cleaning, keeping moisture away from electrical connections.
