The Sigma FRAME 3 ceiling light, article 41318, combines an open rectangular frame with three shallow circular lamp housings. The body and housings are made from painted steel in a grey-beige finish. Two light points sit on one side of the rectangle and the third on the opposite side, rather than following the straight line of a conventional spotlight bar.
A rectangle close to the ceiling
Measuring 57.5 cm wide, 33 cm deep and 7.7 cm high, FRAME is worth considering where a suspended fitting would project too far into the room. Its low height does not eliminate the need to check its footprint: compare both horizontal measurements with the electrical connection point and nearby fitted furniture before choosing its position.
The manufacturer specifies bracket mounting and no height adjustment. Each circular housing measures 8 cm in diameter and 4 cm high. The open centre leaves the ceiling visible through the frame instead of covering it with a solid rectangular plate.
Choose three GX53 lamps separately
The fitting takes three GX53 LED lamps, each rated at no more than 12 W. Lamps are not included, so they need to be selected separately. Compare luminous flux and colour temperature as well as the cap type: the lamps you fit determine the brightness and light colour of the finished installation. Three lamp holders alone do not establish a particular light output.
Geometric lighting for living spaces
The straight frame and simple cylindrical housings support a modern, minimalist interior scheme. Consider it for general lighting in a living room, bedroom, hallway, dressing room or child's or teenager's room. In a kitchen or study, plan the task lighting separately rather than assuming the ceiling fitting will meet every working requirement. For a dining room, its shallow construction offers an alternative to a pendant over the table. Check the output of the chosen lamps when assessing a larger room; the number of light points is not a substitute for that comparison.
