SLV OSSA 300 article 151416 is an elongated wall light with a brushed aluminium finish. Rounded ends continue the straight front face, while openings along the top and bottom allow light to leave the housing. This is the silver-toned version of the fitting, not the white finish offered elsewhere in the range.

Light above and below the housing

The fitting provides direct and indirect light through its upward and downward outlets. Its fixed construction can serve as supplementary wall lighting in a living room, dining room or bedroom, or along a hallway or corridor. There is no adjustable arm or directional spotlight head. When planning its position, allow for that fixed distribution rather than expecting to aim a narrow beam at a book.

The open edges distinguish its appearance from a wall light enclosed by a glass shade. Actual brightness and light colour depend on the lamp you install; the housing does not have a fixed colour temperature of its own. The two-way light outlet is particularly relevant when the wall itself is part of the lighting arrangement, rather than simply a mounting surface.

A separate 118 mm R7s lamp

There is one R7s socket, intended for a lamp measuring 118 mm in length. SLV specifies the QT-DE12 lamp type and a maximum rating of 120 W. That figure is the permitted lamp wattage, not a constant power consumption for the fitting. No lamp is included. Before installation, choose a separate source with the correct base and length: an R7s designation alone does not establish that its physical size will fit.

Dimensions and wall mounting

The housing measures 30 cm wide, 6.5 cm high and 8 cm deep. Compare these dimensions with the available wall area and the position of the electrical outlet. It is designed for surface mounting on a wall and direct connection to a 220–240 V mains supply. The unornamented shape and brushed finish suit modern and minimalist interiors without introducing a decorative shade or exposed supporting arm.
