STEINEL RS PRO P2 flat S 069742 white LED ceiling light 3000 K with motion sensor

STEINEL RS PRO P2 flat S 069742 is a white LED ceiling light with a flat circular cover and a concealed motion sensor. Both the housing and opal cover are plastic. Its low profile and smooth, undecorated surfaces support a modern, minimalist appearance.

A shallow fitting for circulation spaces

The light measures 32.2 cm in diameter and 6.8 cm high. Compare that outline with the available ceiling or wall space before installation, particularly near opening doors. The manufacturer permits both mounting positions and identifies corridors, entrance halls and stairwells as applications. The same movement-triggered operation is relevant to these circulation areas in hotels and office buildings.

The high-frequency sensor covers 360° with a reach of up to 8 m. Maximum mounting height is 4 m; choose the position with the intended detection area in mind. Two supplied metal elements allow detection to be restricted in particular directions. IP54 does not make this a general-purpose garden light: STEINEL classifies this model as an indoor fitting.

Warm white light with configurable switching

The integrated LED system provides 1608 lm at 15.1 W and 3000 K. No separate bulb needs to be purchased. The twilight threshold can be set between 2 and 2000 lx, and the lighting duration between 5 seconds and 15 minutes. Soft light start brings the illumination on gradually.

An optional basic light operates at 10% brightness for 10 or 30 minutes, or throughout the night. This is separate from adjusting the main light, whose brightness is not adjustable. Up to ten fittings can be interconnected by cable, so the connection should be considered when planning the electrical installation.

Connection and ongoing use

The fitting requires a 220–240 V, 50–60 Hz supply and professional electrical installation. Do not connect it to an external dimmer. Neither the LED source nor the control gear is replaceable; the complete fitting must be replaced when the light source reaches the end of its service life. Clean the cover with a damp cloth without detergent, observing electrical safety instructions. The manufacturer specifies a five-year warranty.
