JUST LIGHT TED 14191-39 table lamp, beige, 38 cm, 1×E27

TED 14191-39 by JUST LIGHT is a beige table lamp with a ceramic base shaped like a standing figure and a cylindrical fabric shade. Separate legs, short arms and a rounded body distinguish this version from the seated lamp in the same series. The sand-coloured base complements the pale shade, while the ceramic surface has a fine texture that remains visible when the lamp is switched off.

Allow for the full 38 cm height

The complete lamp measures 38 cm high, 16 cm wide and 16 cm deep, with a diameter of 16 cm. Compare these dimensions with the space on your bedside table, chest of drawers or console. Clearance above the furniture must accommodate the whole shade, not just the ceramic figure. The standing figure forms the lamp base; it is not a separate ornament.

The manufacturer identifies living rooms, bedrooms and dining rooms as intended settings. Placed on furniture, TED provides an additional light point rather than a suspended light above a dining table. Its modern character comes from the simplified sculptural figure and straightforward shade, rather than the beige finish alone.

Choose your own E27 bulb

The single E27 socket accepts a bulb rated at no more than 25 W. A bulb is not included. You therefore choose the colour temperature and light output through the bulb rather than treating them as fixed specifications of the lamp. The warm appearance in the manufacturer's photographs shows one lighting arrangement, not a prescribed colour temperature.

The fabric shade screens the bulb from the sides. Check the bulb's physical dimensions against the space inside the shade as well as checking its screw base.

A switch on the cable

TED operates on 230 V and has a 150 cm cable with an inline switch. When choosing its position, allow for the actual cable route to the socket and keep the switch accessible. Switching takes place on the cable, without reaching underneath the shade towards the lamp holder.
