Trio DUOline 701132 power feed with electronic phase changer, matt black

The Trio DUOline 701132 is a power feed with an electronic phase changer for the two-phase DUOline track system. It connects the electrical supply to the track rather than producing light itself. Its rectangular plastic housing has a flat cover and a matt black finish.

Two lighting groups from a three-core supply

The built-in phase changer allows two lighting groups to be selected even when the incoming supply uses a three-core cable. Repeated operation of a wall switch selects the first phase, the second phase or both together. When planning a track layout, this distinguishes the component from a simple electrical connection: it also provides a way to choose which group of compatible lights is operating.

The manufacturer also specifies operation with a dimmer. Dimming must be assessed for the complete combination of lights, light sources and controls; this feed does not make every connected fitting dimmable. As a non-light-emitting component, it does not determine the brightness or colour temperature of the finished installation.

End or centre feed in the same component

The universal design can be used as an end feed or a centre feed, allowing the location of the incoming connection to inform the track arrangement. Maximum loading is 200 W per phase. Check the connected load separately for each lighting group rather than relying only on the combined load across the installation.

Operation is at 230 V ~ 50 Hz. The installation instructions show a protective-earth connection and fixing to the mounting surface; the specified wiring and orientation of the system components must be followed. This is one part of a DUOline installation, not a complete package of tracks and lights.

Allow space around the supply point

The housing measures 9.5 cm wide, 5.1 cm high and 13.5 cm deep. Compare these dimensions with the available space at the connection before planning the final layout. The manufacturer permits wall and ceiling mounting and identifies living rooms and bedrooms as applications. Its plain, straight-edged form suits modern and minimalist arrangements, while the matt black finish coordinates with black DUOline components.
