URUAPAN is a black Luces Exclusivas ceiling light with four white, matt globe shades. A short stem leaves the round ceiling plate and carries a straight bar with a cross arm, and each globe is backed by a flat black disc that separates it from the metal frame.
Dimensions and where it fits
The fitting measures 51 cm along its longest side, 37 cm across and 17 cm high, measured from the ceiling to the bottom of the globes. Compare those 17 cm with the headroom in the room: a ceiling light takes far less of it than a pendant, which matters under a low ceiling.
The ceiling plate is 12 cm across and 2.5 cm thick, the globes are 10 cm in diameter each and the discs behind them 12 cm. The frame is aluminium and the shades are glass.
Bulbs and light
The light has four G9 lampholders, each taking a source of up to 20 W. Bulbs are not included, so you need to buy four G9 bulbs – you choose the colour temperature and brightness yourself, and the 20 W limit per point accommodates both typical G9 LED bulbs and halogen ones of that wattage. The fitting runs on 230 V.
The matt globes spread the light sideways and towards the ceiling rather than aiming it at one spot, so the fitting gives soft, general room lighting.
Style and use
The geometric combination of globes, discs and straight rods in a uniform black is a modern form. The light suits a living room, bedroom or hallway – wherever general light from the ceiling is needed and the room height rules out a pendant.
