Sigma PEDRA 40866 – light between irregular planes

PEDRA moves away from exact circles and rectangles. Its black face is composed of two rounded, asymmetric shapes reminiscent of smooth stones: a larger plate sits behind and a smaller one projects in front. The change in level gives the wall light a sculptural presence. Lacquered steel keeps the finish consistent, allowing outline, shadow and the relationship between the two elements to become the main visual features.

An indirect glow around the front panel

An integrated 7 W LED module is concealed between the planes. Warm 3000 K light, with an output of approximately 350 lm, escapes around the smaller piece and reflects from the rear plate and wall. In the illuminated image it forms a soft, irregular perimeter that reveals the layered construction. PEDRA is suited to evening accent lighting beside a sofa, bed or console, or as an atmospheric point in a hall alongside the principal light.

An organic wall composition

The free-form silhouette softens the strict lines of simple furniture and reads clearly against a pale, quiet background. Black can be repeated in frames, handles or table legs. Its slim profile limits projection into a passage. Leave open wall around the fitting so the uneven illuminated outline can remain visible.
