Zambelis 23135 is a pendant light with an upright oval frame in matt gold metal, with a 12 cm opal glass globe set in its lower part. The frame is 20 cm wide and 50 cm tall, and the fitting hangs on a fabric cable.
Dimensions and hanging height
The cable is 220 cm long and adjustable, so the lamp can hang low over a worktop or higher in a passage. Over a table or kitchen island it is usually shortened so the bottom of the fitting sits 70–80 cm above the top. A 20 cm wide frame is a small body; in the manufacturer’s photos two of these hang side by side at different heights.
The canopy is 8 cm across and 3.5 cm deep. The fitting is surface-mounted, with no cut-out in the ceiling.
Bulb and light
The lamp has one G9 socket for an LED bulb of up to 7 W. No bulb is included, so you choose the colour and brightness yourself. The milky opal glass diffuses the light and hides the bulb, so the globe glows softly and evenly without a harsh point. The manufacturer does not provide for dimming this fitting.
Build and connection
The frame and canopy are metal and the shade is glass. The fitting is protection class I, so it needs a protective earth — the ceiling box must have an earth conductor. It runs on 220–240 V and the manufacturer intends it for indoor use only.
The plain geometry of the oval and the globe is a modern style. Zambelis files this model under kitchen lighting; it also suits a kitchen island and a dining table, the living room, bedroom and hotels. The manufacturer also offers the 23137 wall light with the same combination of gold metal and opal glass.
