ZENFARO Luces Exclusivas LE45673 surface-mounted ceiling spot, white, Ø 5.5 cm, GU10

ZENFARO LE45673 is a surface-mounted ceiling spot shaped as a smooth white cylinder 5.5 cm in diameter. The body is fixed directly to the ceiling, and a translucent ring at its lower edge is where the light comes out. The fitting is made of aluminium and acrylic.

Size and installation

The cylinder is 10.8 cm tall, which is how far it hangs below the ceiling, and at 5.5 cm across it takes up little more ceiling space than a junction box. It is not a recessed fitting — no hole has to be cut in the ceiling, only a supply cable brought out. The body has no swivel joint, so the light falls straight down.

Light source

The fitting has one GU10 lampholder for a bulb of up to 10 W, running directly on 230 V mains. The maker supplies it without a light source, so the bulb is chosen separately. The 10 W limit rules out classic 35–50 W GU10 halogens, so in practice an LED bulb is used — its colour temperature and beam angle are chosen when you buy it. Dimming works only with a bulb marked as dimmable and a suitable dimmer.

A small, plain cylinder with no ornament suits modern interiors: living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens and hallways, as well as shops and attic rooms. The ZENFARO series also includes a black version of this spot, a taller 17 cm spot, a wall light, a pendant and two- and three-light fittings.
