Aldex Pinne Dusty Blue floor lamp, E27, 162 cm, 1080A16

Aldex Pinne Dusty Blue 1080A16 is a floor lamp with a slender metal stem and a white, matt glass globe. The muted blue finish runs through the upright support and round base, while the spherical shade provides a clear contrast to the narrow vertical outline. This is a single floor-standing lamp from the Pinne family in the Dusty Blue colourway.

A 162 cm lamp with a separate base footprint

The overall dimensions are 162 cm high, 32 cm wide and 32 cm deep. The shade measures 20 cm in diameter, which is not the same as the lamp's overall width. Allow space for the base as well as the glass globe when comparing the lamp with the available floor area.

Pinne can provide supplementary lighting in a living room, bedroom or study, or in the seating area of a dining room, hotel or restaurant. Beside a sofa or armchair, compare its height with the furniture's backrest and keep the base clear of walking routes. Its proportions are those of a floor lamp, rather than a table lamp or a pendant intended to hang above a dining table.

Milk glass around one E27 light source

The lamp has one E27 socket. Its matt, milky glass diffuses the light instead of leaving the bulb directly exposed. The globe suits supplementary ambient lighting rather than the narrow directional beam of a spotlight.

Brightness and light colour depend on the chosen light source. Check the bulb's specifications and observe the fixture's permitted limits when selecting it. The manufacturer's instruction shows the source being screwed in before the globe is fitted. The E27 designation alone does not specify a colour temperature or lumen output.

Muted blue with a minimal outline

A smooth stem, flat circular base and single globe create a geometric composition without decorative arms. The form supports modernist, modern and minimalist styling, while the white and restrained blue combination also reflects the Scandinavian character identified by Aldex. Dusty Blue names the metalwork finish, not the colour of the emitted light.
