Antigo Zama 8408 is a black LED ceiling light with a neutral white colour temperature of 4000 K. Its round, cylindrical housing has a light-coloured underside, with no hanging cable or projecting arms. The simple outline suits modern and minimalist interiors where a compact ceiling-mounted fitting is preferable to a pendant.
A round fitting, 20 cm across
The light measures 20 cm in diameter and 7.2 cm in height. These dimensions describe a circular body, not a square 20 × 20 cm footprint. Compare both the round outline and the depth below the ceiling with the space available before deciding on its position. The low body avoids the long drop associated with a suspended light.
The manufacturer lists aluminium, steel and plastic as the materials. Visually, the defining elements are the continuous black side wall and the pale lower face rather than separate decorative shades. This compact form is an option for a living room, bedroom, kitchen or dining room when you want a small surface-mounted ceiling light instead of a hanging centrepiece.
The 4000 K LED version
Article 8408 identifies the black LED version rated at 13 W. The catalogue lists a luminous flux of 2127 lm and a colour rendering index of CRI ≥80. Its neutral white colour temperature distinguishes it from the warmer 3000 K version in the same family. The light source is an LED module: this is not one of the Zama versions that requires a separate GX53 bulb.
Planning its place on the ceiling
The compact shape also lends itself to an entrance hall, corridor, office or study. Plan the number of fittings around the room's size and layout rather than treating the diameter as a measure of lighting coverage. The supply voltage is 220–230 V and the protection rating is IP20. Do not confuse article 8408 with the similar-looking Zama IP range, which has different protection ratings.
