This makes the fitting a supplementary wall-lighting choice for a living room, bedroom or entrance hall. The same decorative role can be used along hotel and office corridors. It is not a spotlight aimed at a book or worktop; plan a separate task light where that kind of illumination is needed.
Connection to a wall supply
OREGON 3861 operates on 230 V. The installation manual shows a screw-fixed wall bracket and connections for live, neutral and protective earth. Installation must be carried out with the supply disconnected and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. This is a fixed wall fitting, not a portable lamp with a plug-in lead.
